When I think about rum there’s usually a coconut or a pirate involved and I’m sure I’m not alone in that! Rum is made from fermented sugar cane and had a long history in the Caribbean islands.
Rum covers a lot of flavor bases, from fruity to spicy. You can find sweet flavored rum (like in this Strawberry Wine Sangria), spiced rum or even black rum.
